FAQs
What is the Dress Code?
1
For the Welcome Party: Cocktail attire. Trousers with a polo/button down or a relaxed suit with no tie for men. Dresses-long or short, dressy skirts or trousers with a blouse or blazer for women. The “baroque” is up to your interpretation-the location is moody and full of beautiful antiques so any drama and flair is always welcome!
For the Wedding: In keeping with the elegance of the evening and grandeur of the location, we ask that guests wear formal evening attire. Suits with tie for gentlemen and long dresses for ladies. Heel covers will be provided for the ceremony on the front lawn so wear your favorite heels without worry!
If in doubt, text Danielle for clarification :)
Can I bring my children or additional guests?
2
While we love your little ones, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate children or additional guests. We appreciate your understanding.
Is the event indoors or outdoors?
3
The ceremony & aperitivo hour are outdoors on the front lawn. Dinner and dancing are inside the Palazzo. Should we encounter inclement weather, all events will take place inside the Palazzo.
What is the deadline for RSVP?
4
Please RSVP by June 30th 2026. If you need more time to confirm, please reach out to Matteo or Danielle.
When should I arrive in Bologna?
5
If you wish to attend the Welcome Party, we recommend arriving by the morning of Friday, September 4th. For our international guests, we suggest arriving a day early on Thursday, September 3rd so you have time to acclimate and explore the city!
Will I need a car?
6
We do not recommend renting a car during your stay in Bologna. All transportation to the wedding will be provided and the Welcome Party is situated in the city center, a short walk from any neighborhood you may be residing in. More transportation details can be found in the Details section.
